Position Summary

As a Risk Analyst in the Enterprise Strategy team, you will support Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) projects, evaluate the existing key risk programs/processes, build & maintain assigned reports that monitor Risk trends, and run training programs for the Risk new hires.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Partner with process owners to track the progress and deliverables for ERM projects.
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative Risk data and effectively articulate conclusions or recommendations to various levels of leadership.
  • Evaluate, analyze, and report the impact and performance of key risk programs and processes from operational, regulatory, and strategic perspectives.
  • Perform analyses, identify trends, and create reporting for internal and external use, including for the Company’s Risk Management/Corporate Governance Committee.
  • Balance multiple initiatives and set priorities to meet tight deadlines.
  • Design, build, and maintain assigned reports to monitor the health of the portfolio.
  • Compile presentations for upper management, including key performance metrics, status reports, risk management and control reviews, and recommendations for new areas of opportunity.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Math, or related field.
  • Experience in Banking, Finance, or related industry.
  • Proficiency in SAS and/or SQL, or a similar programming language.
  • Good communication skills and political savvy.
  • Ability to quickly assimilate and analyze large amounts of information.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft tool suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).

Preferred:

  • Consumer Credit Card industry experience
  • At least 1 year advanced use of at least one of the following: Microsoft Access, SQL Server, Oracle, or SAS
  • Experience in Tableau or an equivalent visualization tool.
