This position is a senior manager role that will interface with leadership across Credit One Bank as well as vendors and partners as it relates to paid social media campaigns and other traditional advertising activities. This position will oversee the social media team budget, content planning and strategy, and content production schedule including live off-site social production, influencer programs, and PR/sponsorship integrations. In addition, this role will support larger brand campaigns assisting with other media campaigns beyond social.
This team member will oversee timely and evergreen content for both organic and paid campaigns, to increase brand awareness through Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), and YouTube. This role will support Credit One Bank’s efforts to plan, edit, and publish high-quality content that reinforces the brand message to engage existing and future card members and will support campaigns across other media channels as part of integrated campaigns. Candidate must be well-versed in present and emerging digital and social platforms and understand each channel’s unique attributes to best convey Credit One Bank’s brand message in a relevant way.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
Lead the oversight and strategy for social media working with internal and external partners to execute campaigns
Manage day-to-day interaction with Agency of Record on social media projects to ensure delivery of projects on time and within budget
Create social media roadmap and annual plan for each identified content lane
Outline paid amplification opportunities, along with testing and measurement for campaigns managed internally and by agency partners
Lead social media content strategy, working with internal marketing communications team to execute engaging high-quality content
Lead social media influencer programs including following of all FTC guidelines, Bank procedures, and ensuring measurement of campaign ROI
Evaluate campaign delivery in reaching business goals through planning, buying, execution, and reporting
Actively participate in the planning of integrated campaigns that are medium agnostic, seeking to find the best media mix to support the message and reach the target audience
Support the implementation and management of national, spot market, and local brand traditional media campaigns
Develop creative and media briefs for agency partners that make the brand competitive, unique, and elevated, including go-to-market strategies for new product launches and brand campaigns
Direct meetings with stakeholders across the Bank to launch social initiatives that support product, partnerships, human resources and more
Work closely with partners to ensure social media team maximizes use of high-value sports sponsorships and that all promised deliverables are executed and approved through proper compliance channels
Design campaign tests, participate in marketing research and brand surveys to better understand media impact on target audience
Create and implement effective processes and procedures that to ensure successful compliance with regulations and mitigation of risk
Utilize strong, articulate and thoughtful written and verbal communication skills with impeccable grammar in all email and written communication
Be a collaborative “go-to” partner within an energetic and hard-working team of multi-disciplinary marketing and advertising leaders
Champion bold and innovative work that delivers on goals and objectives
Perform other duties as assigned
Percent of time spent traveling: 3-4 trips per year on average
Position Requirements
5+ years of social media leadership
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a communications-related field
Ability to create compelling content briefs
Lead inter-office and partner meetings with confidence
Significant social platform exposure and understanding how best to create content by user sites
Understanding of Microsoft suite of services
Must be a team leader that inspires eager team members to do great work across disciplines, and inherently, for consumers
Superior presentation, communication, writing, organization and project management skills
