Position Summary:  
In this pivotal role, the Senior Analytics Manager will lead a team through advanced analytics techniques, focusing on diagnostics, process improvement, and remediations. This position requires a blend of strong analytical skills, team leadership, and strategic thinking to manage and drive data-driven decision-making.  
  
Summary of Essential Job Functions:  
  • Team Leadership and People Management: Directly supervise an analyst, manage training, performance evaluations, and career development.
  • Mentorship and Talent Development: Cultivate a culture of continuous learning, applying hands-on analytical leadership that will both personally execute analytical work and lead a high performing team.
  • Diagnostics Management: Lead diagnostic analysis to identify potential remediations and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborative Project Management: Manage and collaborate on departmental or cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives.
  • Innovation and Process Improvement: Implement innovative solutions and best practices in financial operations to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Remediation and Operational Enhancement: Direct the identification, analysis, and remediation of operational or systemic challenges, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
Qualifications:  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in Finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in banking or financial services sector
  • Minimum of 3 years advanced experience in data analysis using SQL
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a focus on team building and talent development
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex analytical concepts
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. Power Pivots/Macros)
