Position Summary

Credit One Bank is seeking a Risk Analyst to join the Risk Strategy Execution team. This position is primarily responsible for meeting with other departments in risk to understand and implement requests to meet strategic goals.

The Risk Analyst is an individual who possesses business knowledge and technical expertise related to their areas of responsibility and is skilled in systems functionality, time management, and change management. Our aim is to consistently implement changes with speed and accuracy. 

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Design, develop, and maintain high quality solutions related to Fraud, Delinquency, Authorization, Payment, and Reissue data
  • Work closely with stakeholders to deliver technical solutions that are of high quality
  • Ensure that work and processes are well documented
  • Identify data/process issues and propose and implement effective solutions
  • Effectively manage deadlines and deliverables
  • Anticipate issues based on knowledge of business trends and propose direction and solutions
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technology area
  • Competent with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively to ensure achievement of deadlines, outcomes, and results
  • Demonstrate company core values of excellence, ownership, collaboration, and integrity
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and highly complex environment
  • Ability to manipulate large data sets utilizing SQL (SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, SAS.)
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to approach problems in a quantitative and qualitative manner under minimal direction
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills to partner with the business to understand their needs and drive solutions
  • Must have well-developed organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple and sometimes competing priorities

Preferred

  • Familiarity with Fiserv strategy platforms
  • JIRA
