Position Summary: 

This position will work through advanced analytics techniques, focusing on diagnostics, process improvement, and remediation. This position requires a blend of strong analytical and critical thinking skills to present data in a clear and concise manner and aid in data-driven decision-making.    

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Diagnostics Creation: Leveraging SQL, create new and amend existing diagnostics to analyze and identify potential remediations and areas for improvement.
  • Remediation and Operational Enhancement: Identify, analyze, and remediate operational or systemic challenges utilizing SQL, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Reporting: Model data to generate reports comparing business process evolution, create dashboards, decks, and other reporting.
  • Innovation and Process Improvement: Implement innovative solutions and best practices in financial operations to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Collaborative Project Participation: Participate in departmental or cross-functional projects, by providing analytical support.

Position Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in Finance, preferably in banking or financial services
  • Minimum of 3 years advanced experience in data analysis using SQL
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex analytical concepts
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. Power Pivots/Macros)
