Position Summary

Credit One Bank is looking for a Senior Production Management Engineer, who will be responsible for ensuring continuous production improvement within the IT Department at Credit One Bank in alignment with the business objectives. The Production Management Engineer shall increase production stability, and bring automation, adherence to change, quality, and efficiency in all functional units, especially in the performance and delivery of business projects. The individual will be the recognized technical authority for an area within the business and will require basic commercial awareness. 

There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence, and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. 

Summary Essential Job Functions

  • Drive service improvements in function and efficiency, and reduction in error rates through automation of IT services delivered and/or executed by Production Management in support of consumer group customers worldwide
  • Help Agencies and contact center agents in their daily operations
  • Responsible for availability, latency, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning. The key focus is automation.
  • Posses clear understanding of Production environment, with an ability to communicate at a leadership level to senior executives at Credit One with an operational excellence mindset.
  • Continually evolve the working practices within and services provided by Production Management to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Continuous forward compatibility and acquisition of competency around automation.
  • Utilize decision analytics and technology platforms to deliver immediate results and long-term business impact.
  • Conduct blameless problem management/postmortem phase of major incidents, develop executive briefings, assess major incident impacts, and drive service improvements to prevent repeat of an incident.
  • Perform other duties as assigned 


Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years’ relevant experience
  • Practical problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
  • Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal skills, and relationship-building skills
  • Service-oriented attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working or leading requirement-gathering efforts for multiple large development projects at one-time
  • Proficient use of basic technical tools and systems
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with one or more programming languages is a plus and willingness/ability to learn including Java, Shell, Python, or similar language
  • Understanding of Cloud concepts (Competent with APIs, Web Services, Angular and microservices) is a plus
