Position Summary

Support all Operations (Customer Service, Fraud and Collections) activities associated with Internal Controls, OCC Exams, Audits, Business and Compliance Control Testing, Risk Assessments management and Remediations.  

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Intake and record all Operations Exam, Audits and Control Testing deliverable requests and observations
  • Manage deliverable requests and provide deliverables for LOBs to Support Exams, Audits and Control Testing
  • Provide departmental responses for observations and action items
  • Maintain and manage detailed action items to ensure completion by required deadlines
  • Conduct follow-up testing for issues identified
  • Perform control testing on Risk Assessments
  • Perform Clean Desk Audits
  • Review Operations procedures and updates to ensure alignment with Regulations and policy
  • Conduct root cause analysis of issues identified in the Audit and Control Testing processes
  • Manage concurrent deadlines within multiple business units
  • Perform analysis on trending
  • Participate in sessions to identify and implement operational controls 
  • Support project requests and remediation efforts assigned to internal controls
  • Support efforts to identify controls and establish / test self assessments 
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

  • 1-2 years Quality Assurance/Audit/compliance experience
  • Strong Regulatory knowledge as related to Credit Card industry
  • Understand the basic concepts of Marketing, Risk, IT, Collections, Treasury & Finance
  • Strong knowledge of Operations practices
  • Ability to conduct root cause analyses
  • Proficient in Window, Excel and Word, etc.
  • Effective writing skills and verbal communication skills
  • Maintain a high level of motivation and initiative
  • Critical thinking
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to work with personnel at all levels
