As a Procurement Systems Analyst, you will work with leadership to implement and manage procurement systems, develop processes and workflows, train users, identify improvement opportunities, and monitor compliance to policy and procedures. In addition, the role will support tactical purchasing activities, such as obtaining competitive bids, purchase requisition and purchase order support. This role reports to the Assistant Vice President of Procurement.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
Design, implement, communicate and administrate procurement systems and technology, including governance in compliance with all company policies, data, and data management, reporting and transactional support
Leverage technology solutions to ensure consistency, scalability, data accuracy and improve the efficiency and productivity of Procurement
Manage and maintain up-to-date item master data, supplier information, ordering catalogs, workflows, and contract data
Responsible for tactical purchasing of assigned categories.
Track and report identified non-compliance to procurement policy and procedures.
Influence vendors and business partners to ensure compliance with procurement policy and procedures
Partner with Treasury and Finance to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of procure to pay process
Manage the legacy purchase order issuance process through transition to new procurement solution
Collaborate with Vendor Management team to ensure compliance with policy and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of professional level procurement experience
Effective communication skills and ability to work well across all levels and functions in the company
Demonstrated expertise using procure-to-pay (P2P) solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and analytical and problem-solving skills
Outstanding time management skills and ability to work on multiple projects in parallel
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Program management skills
Proficient with Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio or Lucid charts)
