Position Summary

We are currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join Credit One's FP&A team within the Finance Department.  Essential job responsibilities include developing and maintaining strategies and forecasts for the retained business portfolio, presenting findings to senior management, and making recommendations for opportunities for incremental growth and risk management. In the role of Senior Financial Analyst, you will focus on managing the Bank’s retained portfolio. You will have the opportunity to become a subject matter expert regarding all portfolio composition, loss rate calculation, forecasting, credit bureau attributes, profit & loss drivers, and portfolio scores.

 

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Identify and execute new account strategies for the retained business portfolio.
  • Compile data from the internal data warehouse and perform extensive data analysis on portfolio performance.
  • Make recommendations based on well-constructed analytics and present ideas to key stakeholders of the Bank.
  • Analyze portfolio performance to identify risk factors at an early stage.
  • Oversee analysis of monthly results, variance analysis, trending, and related recommendations
  • Effective communicator
  • Maintain relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams across the Bank

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 3-5 years of previous financial services experience is required; credit card industry experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team on a day-to-day basis
  • Attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple priorities
  • Problem solver 
  • Capable of preparing & delivering accurate and logical presentations in PowerPoint

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Credit card industry experience
  • SQL knowledge
