The Risk Analyst will drive strategic initiatives across the Credit Risk organization. This individual is expected to identify stakeholder needs and oversee the delivery of strategic initiatives. The Risk Analyst will design, develop, and support the Risk business through the delivery and management of technology and business applications. This individual must have strong collaboration, critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills.
Essential Job Functions:
Design, develop, and support risk business through the delivery and management of technology solutions
Partner with the business to refine requirements, develop user stories, design UX, and deliver business solutions using agile methodology
Plans and manage deployment of vendor product upgrades, hotfixes, and new capabilities, and are responsible for relationship management of delivery partners
Drive implementation of data strategy, data policies, and data quality standards across the enterprise in collaboration with business and technology teams
Provide consulting to business and technology teams to build analytical and data requirements
Bridge the gap between the business and technical teams, translating business needs and features into functional specifications
Lead and drive complex initiatives from ideation to post implementation support
Document and manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies for key strategic initiatives
Assess variances in initiatives, gather metrics, and develop/implement changes as needed to ensure initiatives is delivered on time, within scope and budget
Good blend of business analyst, product owner and project management functions that can independently drive programs to completion will be a plus
Position Requirements:
5+ years of relevant experience or bachelor’s degree
Specializes in technology tools and platforms such as SQL, SSIS, Python, and Tableau
Experience collaborating with teams of business analysts and working collaboratively with Program Managers, Product Owners, and SMEs
Strong knowledge of technology agile delivery methodologies; Kanban, Scrum, and Scaled Agile
Experience working in Jira
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to anticipate emerging issues and escalate
Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
Strong skills in Microsoft Office
