Position Summary
Credit One Bank is looking for a Technical Writer II/Content Manager, to develop, implement, and manage clear, accurate, and consistent procedures for our credit card operation teams. This person will be required to partner with leaders across the business to drive positive cardmember outcomes. This may include the research and documentation of procedures, oversight of the change process, as well as the upload and administration work to support the online Knowledge Base. The person in this role should expect to spend at least 50% of their time writing, editing, updating, and researching Operations policies and procedures.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Research, Document, edit, and update procedures and support other technical writers in the development of procedures.
- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders to influence outcomes and ensure procedures meet business needs and department deliverables.
- Learn the functions and impacts of the business area(s) you support, to build creditably and ensure accurate and clear procedures that support positive cardmember experiences.
- Ensure consistent and high-quality procedures that adhere to the Banks Style Guideline and compliance expectations.
- Identify procedure gaps; recommend and drive solutions to close the gaps and improve operations processes related to new systems, products, functions, policies, and soft skills.
- Manage or support the management of the department’s intake process to ensure accurate prioritization and the timely completion of deliverables.
- Manage or support updates to the procedure repository to ensure the accurate and timely publication of new and updated procedures. Recommend system improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience in an operations environment with an advanced understanding of technical writing and/or process documentation
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
- High level of competency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and familiarity with systems such as SharePoint and JIRA
- Ability to engage stakeholders and influence decisions
- Demonstrate company core values of excellence, ownership, collaboration, and integrity
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communication, Business or related field preferred
- Call center and financial services experience preferred
