Position Summary

The Human Resources Analyst will focus on workforce health analytics, real-time and ad hoc reporting, HRIS/HCM configuration, and act as a key resource on analytics topics within the Human Resources department. This role will report to the Vice President, Total Rewards & People Operations.
 

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

  • Provides regular and automated reporting, including writing, maintaining, and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools
  • Assists in the development of custom reports to meet ongoing client needs
  • Proactively analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, turnover, and other metrics which may be of interest to the HR department and other stakeholders
  • Makes recommendations for analyses, policies and activities to improve organizational efficiency and culture
  • Maintains and improves our suite of reflective and real-time visual dashboards to display key Human Resources and workforce metrics utilizing Tableau, Power BI, or similar applications
  • Quickly develop into the HR subject matter expert for all analytical/reporting needs
  • Performs other duties as assigned 
 

Position Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
  • Proficient in one or more data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
  • Ability to comfortably collaborate with leaders, clients, and stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to build, understand and follow complex models in Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient in data modeling, data mining, econometric, and statistical procedures
  • Willingness to take ownership of the role and a keen ability to partner with senior management to understand their needs and drive solutions from start to finish
  • Capable of preparing and delivering logical, persuasive presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Ability to move beyond the data to clearly identify the “so what?”
 

Preferred:

  • Experience with HRIS/HCM software as an admin or power user
  • Prior experience with Dayforce HCM platform
  • Previous Human Resources experience
  • Previous HR/People Analyst experience
  • Appetite to rapidly grow into a trusted analytical thinker and problem solver for the HR team
