Credit One Bank is looking for a Recovery Representative to analyze account status and determine appropriate action while following company policies and all applicable laws. This position will be primarily responsible for performing activities involving the recovery of accounts that have been charged-off. In addition to working charged-off accounts, you will assist cardmembers who have multiple accounts that range from 30 to 180 days delinquent, utilizing a service-based collections philosophy to create a great customer experience.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
Adherence to all Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA) guidelines.
Ability to establish and maintain a servicing approach to account management.
Review and analyze the situation of each customer and recommend payment plans following company guidelines.
Ability to learn how to effectively educate cardholders towards proper management of their account.
Use experience and product knowledge to effectively overcome objections and resolve outstanding issues in a professional and controlled manner.
Communicate the importance of maintaining credit and resolving delinquency.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
