Position Summary 

Credit One Bank is looking for an individual to lead the Payments Team within the Treasury function and work with Executive Leadership to develop and implement strategies for payment acceptance and processing. Individual will manage the third parties supporting payment functions and other cash inflow processes to ensure scalability and operational effectiveness.

Individual will be point of contact for payment vendor selection to include oversight of the vendor selection process and contract negotiations.

 

Summary Essential Job Functions

  • Work with Senior leadership to develop strategic initiatives related to payments which align with the Bank’s enterprise goals.
  • Responsible for execution of payment initiatives through oversight of the Product Owner function.
  • Establish key metrics that will measure and monitor performance to identify opportunities for improvement and or control weaknesses for payment vendors and processes.
  • Ensure vendors are compliant with the Bank’s vendor management policies and procedures.
  • Understand the different cost aspects relating to and influencing factors of the payment services to identify cost savings or efficiencies.
  • Directly manage a high performing payment’s team.
  • As needed, managing the contract process for services that includes the vendor negotiations, legal review and execution.

Position Requirements

  • An undergraduate degree and 12-plus years of work experience at a financial institution.
  • At least 8 years of experience working in payment processing.
  • Knowledge of the debit card lifecycle and associated regulations.
  • Familiar with NACHA rules and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, analytical and project/time management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and follow-up to ensure achievement of deadlines, outcomes and results.
  • Competent with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrate company core values of excellence, ownership, collaboration, and integrity.

 

Preferred 

  • CPP or AAP certification
  • Knowledge of real-time payment processing
  • Work experience in the credit card industry
