Position Summary
Credit One Bank is seeking a Senior Vice President, Products to identify and develop our cobrand and decline counteroffer (DCO) partnerships as well as other potential deals. This position will be primarily responsible for managing critical relationships with banking, retail, and fintech partners to deliver new opportunities for Credit One Bank’s credit card business. A key ingredient to success will be collaboration with internal stakeholders. This role will handle contract negotiations and ensure the successful execution of key initiatives through delivery of successful programs. The position is highly visible across Credit One Bank and involves frequent interactions with executive leaders and external partners.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced financial services professional with expertise in business development, marketing, and product development.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Identification of cobrand and DCO credit card opportunities across industries
- Identification of additional business development opportunities
- Prioritization and sizing of opportunities and communication with third parties, including banks, retailers, and industry consultants
- Management of sales funnel with aggressive goals to convert leads on a regular basis
- Thorough understanding of product offering, pricing, and options for product integrations
- Creation of thorough and accurate responses to RFIs and RFPs
- Oversight of analysis and pricing strategies
- Contract and vendor management
- Marketing materials and executive-level presentations to senior staff outside of Credit One Bank
Position Requirements
- Master’s degree preferred
- 15+ years of business development, marketing, and product development experience
- Consumer credit card industry experience
- A proven track record in leading strategic relationships, B2B negotiations, and the ability to build and communicate effective value propositions
- Ability to produce compelling sales and marketing materials for distribution and presentation to potential business partners
- Experience leading customer-facing and internal meetings with senior executives
- Track record of business development results
- Able to build consensus across a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders to deliver value for both Credit One Bank and the partners
- Action-oriented with strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills
- Ability to navigate complex deals, negotiations, and contracting processes
- Ability to articulate complicated concepts and influence where necessary
- Values partnerships and relationship building across an organization
