Position Summary

We are currently looking for an Assistant Vice President of Credit Card Products to join the Products Team. This officer-level role is ideal for a credit risk strategy, finance, or analytics professional with a strong understanding of managing a product’s value proposition to the customer and an eye for the future growth of credit card features and benefits.
You'll be joining a Products team responsible for growing the product with innovative credit card offerings, while also managing within financial hurdles. The Assistant Vice President od Credit Card Products will report directly to the Vice President of Product Management and will play a critical role in shaping the credit card strategy for our institution, driving profitability, customer growth, and market differentiation.
 
Summary of Essential Job Functions
    • Evaluate the viability of new products, partnerships, and new business opportunities. 
    • Recognize where existing products are not meeting expectations by leveraging data and assessing KPIs to recommend and implement product features, rewards, and pricing enhancements to drive customer satisfaction and improve profitability. 
    • Conduct competitive analysis and stay informed on regulatory, technological, and consumer behavior trends impacting the credit card space. 
    • Make actionable recommendations based on insights from product performance, strategy, future initiatives, and strategic goals. 
    • Extensive expertise in preparing and delivering high-impact presentations to senior executives. 
    • Develop and maintain a multi-year product roadmap that aligns with organizational growth goals and evolving market trends. 
    • Lead the design, implementation, and measurement of A/B/n tests to understand the incremental impact of product changes to the success of your product KPIs. 
    • Experience in translating complex data into clear narratives that influence product decisions and priorities. 
    • Able to build good relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders from across the Bank in Finance, Risk, Fraud, and Marketing to ensure flawless delivery of testing initiatives or roll outs. 
    • Ensure the timely coordination and completion of projects. 
Position Requirements 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.  
  • 7+ years analytical experience in Banking, Finance, or related field. 
  • Ability to quickly assimilate and analyze large amounts of information. 
  • Sufficient self-confidence and ability to propose new ideas and solutions. 
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio). 

Preferred

  • Consumer credit card industry experience
