Risk Analyst III, Fraud Strategy

Position Summary

Credit One Bank is looking for a Senior Risk Analyst who will support the Bank’s business through consistent delivery and management of technology solutions. As a Risk Analyst in the Fraud Strategy department, the individual in this position will diagnose data issues and deliver solutions to support complex analytics. 
 

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Design and develop data flows and automated reporting solutions while defining and maintaining best practices and standards
  • Develop and maintain custom dashboards using T-SQL, SAS, Tableau, Microsoft tools, and other developing technologies
  • Contribute to the department’s SDLC efforts including technical design, development, testing, and delivery of solutions and dashboards
  • Analyze data for critical usages against data quality standards using a range of quantitative analytics including machine learning and other advanced analytical paradigms
  • Manage business requirements and specifications for data, reporting, and technology migration requests
  • Ensure prompt completion and accuracy of team projects through prioritization and project management
  • Serve as reporting expert for the Risk team by developing report requests and interpreting data
  • Anticipate issues based on knowledge of business trends and lead resolutions of production issues
  • Utilize available technology to ensure dashboards are maintained and updated on an automated schedule to maximize report uptime
  • Serve as go-to consultant to senior management on complex issues
  • May serve on special project teams as assigned
  • Perform other duties as assigned
 

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • 3-6 years of SQL or SAS experience, strong Tableau experience
  • 3-6 years’ work experience in a similar role in a professional corporate environment
  • Demonstrated experience in data mining large databases
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and follow up to ensure achievement of deadlines, outcomes, and results
  • Demonstrate company core values of excellence, ownership, collaboration, and integrity
 

Preferred

  • Advanced degree
  • Consumer credit card industry experience
  • Experience with web analytics
